Welcome to my personal home page. Here you will find a sampling of my life.
Pictures, hobbies, links and yes, even my resume can all be viewed here.
I hope you find something useful and/or enjoyable. I have made an effort to
keep these pages simple and fast loading to make your stay more enjoyable.
And, of course, these pages will continue to be under construction, probably forever.
I will try to keep the resulting annoyances to a minimum.
After a great start this effort was set aside due to a variety of other pressing
issues. But I am happy to finally say that I am back at it. This latest update finally
sees some of my photography coming on line plus another goody or two that I had
promised.
Please note that since the pages are under continuing construction, many places
that should be links just aren't. All active links will be indicated either
with an underline or similar notation, depending on your browser settings.
Also, when your cursor moves over a link, the cursor should change (mine changes
to a hand).
To avoid cluttering up everything with 'under construction' banners (IE: to speed
up loading), here is the one under construction icon that is inclusive for all my
pages!
Below is a summary of items that you can find in my web pages. Each line is a
link to that section.

For nearly 15 years I have been working as an electrical engineer. However, most
of that time has been working in research groups and for high risk start ups. While
this means that I have learned an awful lot and been constantly challenged, it also
has had the unfortunate side affect that I have never been directly involved in
something that was shipped as a revenue making product (came close a couple of times).
Until now. I joined Apple Computer, Inc. just over
two years ago. My family and friends have regularly asked what I was working on
and the most that I could say was an iMac and then a Power Mac G4 system. But I
couldn't say anything else. Until now. In less than a month's time, two products
that I have been heavily involved in have shipped. Follow this link
to a page which allows me to do a bit of bragging on this accomplishment, pictures
included! ![]()
For those curious about what I have been doing for so long without shipping products,
here is a link to my resume
(use your <BACK> button to return here. I am happy to say that I am
NOT looking for a job. This resume
is here stricktly to give an insight as to my professional background (and idea
of fun). I am currently (and for the long run if I have my way) working for Apple
Computer, Inc., where I have more than enough challenging and exiting things that
I am working on. Please do not contact me with
employment opportunities.
I have in the past created several software programs and currently have a major
project that will hopefully go commercial (limited market) early next year.
The name of my software business will be JDH Software Technologies and I have registered
an internet domain: www.jdh-stech.com.
My first product will be a modern desktop for the classic QL/SMSQE operating system.
I do have some other projects that I expect to be of substantially more commercial
interest on which I will start next year. All development on these upcoming projects
will be done using Apple's OS-X operating system. I have decided to no longer develop
under/for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
The following links go to my different support pages. In working with different
family, friends, and co-workers, I have found myself in a support role. Hopefully
these pages will develop into useful resources for those who have a need for help.

Helen Greve and Mary Paterson Paterson/Greve Marketing Consultants Website : www.SiliconValleyHomes4U.com Email : HGreve@cbnorcal.com These two wonderful ladies are based out of Menlo Park, CA. They made finding my first home in Redwood City into a simple and actually fun time! |

Michael LoMonaco Website : www.cbnorcal.com Email : mlomonaco@cbnorcal.com This guy works in real estate in the South Bay area and is based in Los Gatos, CA. He helped me a lot during my early information gathering on buying a home. He was then kind enough and professional enough to recommend others who could help me buy my first home. |

Ron Rosano Loan Consultant Website : www.amerimac.com Email : ronrosano@AEM1.com This guy handled all of the financial details of my first home loan and made sure that everything happened all the way to the final closing on the house. With the cost of real estate here in California and all the different details, it could have been an expensive nightmare. But with Ron's help the entire transaction was amazingly straight forward. |
As I mentioned, these web pages will be a long term and constantly growing project.
